我是一名北京中学的英语教师,于2002年9月至2003年7月被派到美国威斯康星州的米尔沃基市一所小学教汉语。这所学校无论从师生人数上,还是从校园面积上都无法与我们同水平的学校相比,教职员工只有56名,学生也只有560多名,可是这所学校在当地就算是比较大的小学了。在那里工作了近一年,对美国的文化有一些感悟。
I was an English teacher in Beijing middle school and was sent to a primary school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to teach Chinese from September 2002 to July 2003. This school, no matter from the number of teachers and students, or from the campus area can not be compared with our level compared to only 56 faculty members, only 560 students, but the school even in the local relatively large Primary school. Working there for nearly a year has some insights into American culture.
