1997年8月,第一部由外国人撰写的成龙(杰基·陈)传记《杰基·陈:龙的内幕》,在美国德克萨斯州达拉斯市泰勒书局问世。该书作者、当地《香港电影指南》季刊编辑克莱德·金特里首次以美国观众的视角,向公众揭示了成龙生平身世、功夫技能和演艺成绩。从这一期起,本刊将摘要选译其中内容,以飨国内电影爱好者。
In August 1997, the first Jackie Chan (Jackie Chan) biographical “Jackie Chan: The Inside Story of Dragons” written by foreigners was first published at the Taylor Bookstore in Dallas, Texas. For the first time, the author of the book, the local quarterly editor of the Hong Kong Film Guide, Clyde Gentry, revealed to the public Jackie Chan’s life experience, Kung Fu skills and performing arts performance from the perspective of the American audience. Starting from this issue, we will summarize and translate some of the contents to help domestic film lovers.
