塔里木盆地的自然资源十分丰富。盆地四周受天山、喀喇昆仑山和阿尔金山的环抱,形成了它得天独厚的自然环境。虽然塔里木盆地年降雨量稀少,气候干旱,风沙严重,但是从四周雪山冰峰溶化的大量雪水,汇流成几拾条河流,灌溉着盆地四周的广大绿洲。在河流两岸的冲积平原上,生长着大面积原始胡杨林和经济价值很高的丰富植被。塔里木盆地丰富的自然资源为我区发展农林牧业生产和提供工业原料有着广阔的前景。
The natural resources in the Tarim Basin are very rich. Surrounded by the Tianshan Mountains, the Karakorum Mountains and the Altun Mountains, the basin has formed its unique natural environment. Although rainfall is scarce in the Tarim Basin, the climate is arid and the wind and sand are severe, a large amount of snow melt from the ice peaks of the surrounding snow mountains converge into several streams of rivers and irrigates the oases around the basin. On both sides of the river alluvial plain, the growth of large areas of native Populus euphratica forest and high economic value of rich vegetation. The abundant natural resources in Tarim Basin have broad prospects for the development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and production of industrial raw materials in our district.
