江泽民总书记指出,“四个现代化哪一化也离不开信息化”。信息和信息技术已成为整个经济活动的基础,是衡量经济发展和社会进步的重要标志,是知识经济的核心。处在高科技迅猛发展时代的医院,要加速实现信息化,通过建设医院管理信息系统(HIS),分析利用国内外各种信息,开发决策者的智慧,加快员工的知识更新,增强科技兴院意识,迎接高科技的挑战,以信息化提高医院效率,推动医院现代化进程。
