Located in the Luoxiao Mountain in the far north of Liuyang City, Baixi Village is a remote mountain village at the junction of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. Where the mountain is thin, the environment is bad. For a long time there was no school in the village and no villages in the adjacent villages. Children had to go to the schools outside the village for running more than 20 miles of steep mountain roads. That kind of hardship made the villagers unforgettable.
