目前,对电焊工尘肺的认识尚不一致,一般认为电焊工尘肺就是铁末沉着症,其主要病理改变为细支气管和血管周围淋巴组织内有氧化铁沉积,但不引起结缔组织反应。患者若脱离电焊工作数年后,其肺部病变可逐渐缩小或消失,病情不会进展到Ⅲ期。我站于1974年对某渔轮修造厂31例电焊工人进行了体检,确诊为电焊工尘肺者3例,经五年观察随访,患者病情发展与上述论点有所不同,故提出并对电焊工尘肺做进一步的探讨。
