形象学的研究重点在于“形象”的生成、发展和影响,在于研究他者形象和异国形象的发展过程及其缘由。形象学以异国、异族形象为研究对象,这与谭恩美作品中书写的异族、异国、异文化等“异”是契合的,为研究谭恩美作品中描写的文化现象提供了理论依据。谭恩美有着独特的人生经历,她的小说创作背景多为自己和母亲的亲身经历以及从长辈们那里听到的故事,可以看出中国明显地作为一个“他者”而出现在小说《灶神之妻》中。
The focal point of image study lies in the formation, development and influence of “image”, which lies in the study of the development process of the image of the other and the image of foreign countries and their causes.
