《灵魂》陶发对笔者说,这是他自己很喜欢的一件作品。灵魂,何谓灵魂?在山野之中度过有一丝月光的黑暗之夜,或许能激发我们对虚无缥缈之物的体验。在艺术家的故乡,如同画面上那样秀气而小巧的“馒头山”有的连成一条起伏的波浪线,有的孤零零冒出地面,它们都是喀斯特地貌特有的山形。土地在白天是人们劳作的场所,在夜晚则安静地孕育更多的生命。作为一个人,单独叩问自己何谓灵魂,难免成为一场带有后现代性质的无休无止的自我反思和质疑,不如我们静观夜色浸染的山野,通过体会山野之灵而领悟有关“灵魂”的相关所指。
