色氨酸在人体内参与多种代谢途径,其代谢紊乱对发育、智力、造血及神经血管调节等均有重要影响。人血清中色氨酸以游离型和结合型二种形式存在。临床观察和动物试验表明:血中游离色氨酸与脑内5—羟色胺含量关系密切,而后者是重要的抑制性递质,有人认为,其代谢紊乱是某些精神病及肝性脑病的原因之一。因此,准确测定血清游离色氨酸水平将有助于了解脑内5—羟色胺水平及探讨某些精神症状的机制,还可能为临床诊治提供有用的指标。
Tryptophan in the human body involved in a variety of metabolic pathways, the metabolic disorders on development, intelligence, hematopoietic and neurovascular regulation have a significant impact. Tryptophan in human serum exists in both free and conjugated forms. Clinical observations and animal experiments show that: blood free tryptophan and brain serotonin content is closely related to the latter is an important inhibitory neurotransmitters, some people think that the metabolic disorder is some of the causes of psychosis and hepatic encephalopathy one. Therefore, accurate determination of serum free tryptophan levels will help to understand the brain serotonin levels and explore the mechanism of some mental symptoms, but also may provide a useful indicator for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
