With regard to the catalyst demonstration experiment, the manganese dioxide catalyst is generally used as a catalyst in middle school chemistry textbooks. For example, the decomposition of potassium chlorate to oxygen is performed using manganese dioxide as a catalyst; hydrogen peroxide quickly releases oxygen under the catalysis of manganese dioxide. Both of these experiments showed the influence of the catalyst on the reaction rate of the chemical reaction, but it was difficult to see the catalyst during the reaction in the experiment.
