Objective: To observe the clinical significance of biological behavior indicators phosphatase (PTEN) and adhesion molecules (CD44v6) in gastric cancer. Methods: Tissue microarray was made by tissue microarray. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of PTEN and CD44v6 in 120 gastric cancer specimens. Results: The positive rates of PTEN and CD44v6 in gastric cancer tissues were 35.0% and 27.5%, respectively, both of which were related to the depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P <0.05), and the presence of CD44v6 Department of metastasis (P <0.05). Conclusion: PTEN and CD44v6 can promote the infiltration and metastasis of gastric cancer, suggesting that it may be an indicator to evaluate the biological behavior of gastric cancer.
