《明时演义》是翻译家、文学家林纾在民国期间抄写的一部报章小说合集,现存上海师范大学图书馆,属海内外孤本,小说作者、发表刊物均无记载。文章通过考辨指出,其作者是清末民初报人小说家程道一,文字来自《小公报》上的长篇连载小说《消闲演义》。林纾在民国战乱不堪、家庭迭遭变故的背景下抄写了《消闲演义》的起始部分内容。文章另对《明时演义》“落户”上海师范大学图书馆做了考证。
Romance of the Ming Dynasty is a collection of newspapers and periodicals transcribed by translator and writer Lin Shu during the Republic of China. The existing library of Shanghai Normal University is a solitary book at home and abroad. No author or author has been published in the novel. The article points out through examination that the writer is Cheng Daoyi, a novice novelist in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China, and his text comes from a long novel series entitled “Romance of Romance” published in the “Primus”. Lin Shu copied the initial part of “Romance of Leisure” in the context of the Republican Republic’s war-torn and family complex. The article also on the “Ming Dynasty Romance” “settled” Shanghai Normal University Library made a research.
