The authors studied the systemic and local reactions of desensitization treatment with Timothy pollen infusion. There are two types of immersion solution, whole poller allergens (WPA) and purified pollen allergens (PPA). The former contains 20 of 30 to 45 allergens that can be extracted from cattle and has the major potency of cattle allergens; the latter is the two major allergen components Ag19 and Ag25 in cattle grass. These allergens are bio-standardized and adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide for therapeutic use. Forty typical grass hay fever patients were treated for a period of three years. Study using double-blind method (not described in the article two
