应国家自然科学基金委员会的邀请,澳大利亚卧龙岗大学(University of Wollongong)研究政策中心(CRP)主任蒂姆·特宾(Tim Turpin)博士于1998年10月18—24日访问了中国。特宾博士是中国科技政策研究界的老朋友,曾多次访问我国,与科技部科技促进发展研究中心等机构开展多项合作研究。特宾博士此次来华,主要与国家自然科学基金委员会政策局签订合作协议,以加强双方在科技政策研究方面的国际合作,并访问与国家自然科学基金委员会
At the invitation of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Dr. Tim Turpin, Director of the Research Policy Center (CRP) at the University of Wollongong, Australia, visited China from October 18 to 24, 1998. Dr. Tebin is an old friend of China's science and technology policy research community. He has visited China many times and conducted many cooperative research with institutions such as the Science and Technology Promotion and Development Research Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr. Tebin's visit to China mainly signed a cooperation agreement with the Policy Bureau of the NSFC to strengthen international cooperation in science and technology policy research and to visit with the National Natural Science Foundation of China
