目前山西省有一部失业工人生活无着,据不完整的初步统计,太原有二千六百一十一人、榆次专区一千三百三十三人、忻县专区七百二十八人、长治专区三百一十人、运城专区三千九百四十四人、临汾专区三百六十八人、汾阳专区二百人、兴县专区一百三十七人,全省共计九千四百九十四人,其中除依靠上地或其它方法较能维持生活者外,其生活异常困难,急需救济者达三千七百一十人。这些人的痛苦,人民政府应予以极大的同情与关怀,并给以可能的援助与救济。省府前曾公布:「失业工人救济暂行办法」命令执行;最近中央政务院关于救济失业工人
