中国科学技术协会于1994年6月27日至30日在北京召开了“学科发展与科技进步研讨会”。这是一次高层次、多学科、综合性的专家讨论式学术盛会。这次会议的研讨成果,将为我国制定学科发展与科技进步的战略决策及长远规划提供重要依据。这次会议的中心议题是:在总结改革开放15年来取得成就的基础上,讨论面向21世纪的学科发展与科技进步问题。中国林学会派出各方面代表10余人参加了会议,就我国林学学科发展前景、林业科技体制改革贯彻“稳住一头,放开一片”的对策等方面作了
China Association for Science and Technology held a “Symposium on Disciplinary Development and Technological Progress” in Beijing from June 27 to June 30, 1994. This is a high-level, multi-disciplinary and comprehensive academic discussion. The outcome of the seminar will provide an important basis for our country to formulate strategic decisions and long-term plans for the development of disciplines and science and technology. The central issue of this meeting is: On the basis of summing up achievements made in the past 15 years of reform and opening up, discuss the issue of discipline development and technological progress facing the 21st century. More than 10 representatives from all walks of life were sent by the Chinese Academy of Forestry to attend the conference. They made suggestions on the prospects for the development of forestry discipline, the reform of the forestry science and technology system, and the strategy of “stabilizing one and releasing one”
