对ISO通用公制螺纹标准,主要是指ISO-68-1973《公制螺纹的基本牙型》,ISO 965/I-1973(E)《公制螺纹的公差》。目前,我国的国家标准“普通螺纹”为向国际标准过渡,采用国际标准ISO公制螺纹的公差制,并于1980年9月审定通过。ISO公制螺纹的基本牙型、直径、螺距同现行的国标GBl92—197—63、航标HB241—75、HB242—70基本一致,只是在公差值的计算和分级、扩大间隙螺纹的品种规格和使用范围上更先进了一步。
