回顾我省农作物育种工作,是通过各种途径与方法,先后育成和推广了各种农作物优良新品种324个。1978年通过群众性的品种普查整顿,按六个积温带确定为我省今后重点推广的“当家”品种和搭配品种有88个。其中有我院属单位育成的72个,占82%。目前,全省良种面积5,400万亩,占播种面积的65%。五十年代中期,由于推广了一批耐锈的品种,基本上控制了小麦锈病的严重危害。近年又育成和推广
