南京市溧水区第三高级中学创建于1975年,针对生源总体水平不高的状况,学校按照“适合就是最好”的理念,确立了错位式多元化发展之路。2001年起,溧水第三高中尝试进行艺术教育,探索艺术教育发展之路。10多年来的辛勤努力,学校的艺术教育彰显出鲜明的特色,在全面提升学生整体艺术素养、营造浓厚艺术氛围的同时,每届都有200多名学生参加艺术类专业的学习,一大批学生进入中央音乐学院、中央美术学院等艺术类院校深造。目前,艺术教育已经成为溧水第三高中特色化发展的品牌。
