应用技术型高校大学英语教育存在学生英语基础较差而教学要求过高、课程设置不能适应应用型培养目标等问题。因此,应用技术型高校大学英语教育迫切需要改革。文章建议:从改变传统的统一要求变必修课为选修课,课程的设置根据学校的人才培养方案增加职业英语教育等方面入手。
There are some problems such as the poor English foundation of the students and the excessive teaching requirements, and the inability of the curriculum to adapt to the application - oriented training objectives. Therefore, the application of college English education in technical colleges and universities urgently need to reform. The article suggests: from the change of the traditional uniform requirements for compulsory courses for the elective courses, curriculum settings according to the school’s personnel training program to increase occupational English education and so on.
