This paper summarizes the main conflict of laws relating to thecontract of carriage of goods by sea between Hong Kong and theMainland ports, and it puts emphasis on the application of the prin-ciple of autonomy of will and the principle of the closest and mostreal connection in such a contract; meanwhile, it puts forward auniform interregional conflict rule for such a contract for referenceonly.
