The zero conductivity of inductive logs has a small, constant zero (base) error of ± 3 milliamperes / meter. Lateral logs have a smaller constant zero resistivity, with errors typically not exceeding 0.1 ohm-meter. Formation density logging has a small error of usually not more than ± 0.3 g / cm3. With neutron logging, the situation is more complicated because there are three completely different downhole tools.
