新世纪初,湖北省委、省政府制定并完善了实施名牌战略、振兴湖北经济的规划,2001年4月,湖北省委宣传部、省经贸委、省工商局、省质量技术监督局、省社科院联合主办了“创名牌、树形象、兴湖北”新闻发布会暨战略研讨会。下面是张国光省长在这次会议上的讲话,刊发时略有删节。
At the beginning of the new century, Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government formulated and perfected the plan of implementing the famous brand strategy and rejuvenating Hubei's economy. In April 2001, Hubei Propaganda Department, Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Provincial Bureau of Industry and Commerce, Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Academy of Social Sciences co-sponsored a “brand-name, tree image, Hing Hubei” press conference and strategy seminar. The following is a speech made by Governor Zhang Guoguang at this meeting. It was slightly abridged when it was published.
