1896年8月17日,邓子恢出生在福建龙岩市新罗区东肖镇的一户书香门第。但到了父亲这一辈,家道已然中落。邓子恢中学毕业后,以第一名的好成绩,考上了当地公费留学的资格,东渡日本求学。在日本留学期间,由于长期穷困和刻苦攻读,得了肺病,病倒了。出院后,由于段祺瑞北洋政府和日本签订《中日共同防敌军事协定》的卖国条约,留日学生公会举行抗议遭到镇压,因而决定全体罢学回国。
August 17, 1896, Deng Zicheng was born in Longyan City, Fujian Province, Xinluo District, East Village, a scholarly door. But by my father’s generation, my family is already falling. Deng Zihui graduated from high school, with the first place of good grades, admitted to the local eligibility for study abroad, East to Japan to study. During my stay in Japan, I was sick of lung disease due to chronic poverty and hard study. After discharge from the hospital, due to the Treaty of Sending State signed by the Duan Qi Rui Bei Yang Government and Japan on the “Sino-Japanese Joint Anti-Militaristic Agreement,” the protest held by the Japan Student Guild was suppressed and all the students decided to strike back.
