Investing in China has become a way of life for small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan. A recent survey released by Japan’s Ministry of Economy and Industry showed that more than half of Japan’s small and medium-sized Japanese enterprises that invest in China are reporting an increase in their performance. Of the Japanese companies that have yet to invest in China, 17% said they would settle in China.
