慈溪市体育馆位于慈溪市体育中心地块内,地块西侧为新城大道北侧为开发大道,南侧为北二环路,东侧为后油车路。本地块内规划建设项目为体育场及体育馆,分期实施,其中体育场已于2002年建成投八使用,体育馆位于体育场南侧,用地范围35,359平方米。由于地块西侧为慈溪中学,体育馆面向西侧城市空间视线受阻,东侧后油车路则紧临景观绿化带及河道,视野开阔,环境优美,而南侧的北二环线为主要城市道路因此建筑师将体育馆主出入口面向北二环路及后油车路开设。由于体育馆用地较
