以个体私营经济为特色的清河县。中小企业发展迅速,经过20年的发展,形成了称雄全国的精梳羊绒、汽车配件、摩托车配件、硬质合金、耐火材料五大支柱产业,2000年,全县完成国内生产总值36.3亿元,实现财政收入1.7亿元,人均储蓄存款达1万元,成为河北省综合实力20强县之一和全省发展县域特色经济的一面旗帜。然而,截至2001年9月末该县金融机构贷款总额只有16.9亿元,而存款总额为36.1亿元,存贷比例为46.8％,其中中小企业贷款12.6亿

In 2000, the county completed a gross domestic product of 3.63 billion yuan , Achieving 170 million yuan of fiscal revenue and 1 million yuan of savings per capita. It has become one of the top 20 comprehensive strength counties in Hebei Province and a banner of developing the county-specific economy in the whole province. However, as of the end of September 2001, the total loan amount of the financial institutions in the county was only 1.69 billion yuan, while the total deposits were 3.61 billion yuan, with a deposit-loan ratio of 46.8%, of which 1.24 billion yuan was lent by SMEs
