2012年12月9日,为期9天的动漫盛会——首届国际动漫博览会(2012北京)在北京蟹岛国际会展中心正式落下帷幕。本届展会由文化部、北京市人民政府和中国人民对外友好协会联合主办,有来自全球30余家动漫出版社、近150家动漫公司、20余部动漫电影及50部短片和3000种以上动漫衍生产品参展;还有20余位国际知名动漫画家、动画电影编剧、导演及动漫项目市场运营专家现场举办主题演讲和论坛活动;宫崎骏和新世纪福音战士等特展、人气漫画作家签售、大型COSPLAY盛装表演悉数登台。包括文化部产业司主办的“国家动漫品牌建设与保护高端论坛”在内的各类论坛、主题讲演、专题报告以及企业新闻发布会
