宋小坡(宋筱坡),原名宋及财,汉族,1904年生于辽宁省辽阳县小北河乡小北河村的一个农民家庭里。 宋小坡幼年聪明伶俐,善于思考,好学上进。10岁那年进入本村私塾。由于活泼可爱又十分懂事,深得开明又主张革新的私塾周抹臣先生的喜爱。周抹臣先生变法革新的进步思想,对宋小坡影响很大,使他从小便知道关心他人,懂得做人的道理。遗憾的是刚刚读完5年私塾的宋小坡,便因小北河遭水灾家贫困,交不起学费,不得不退学回家,帮助父母做些农活。1919年,辽中一带(当时小北河
