中国人民银行定于2001年12月20日发行2002版熊猫贵金属纪念币一套。该套纪念币共10枚,其中金币6枚,银币2枚,镶金银币1枚,铂币1枚,均为中华人民共和国法定货币。一、熊猫贵金属纪念币图案(一)正面图案1.金币、银币、镶金银币正面图案相同,为北京天坛祈年殿,并刊国名、年号,其中镶金银币加刊“熊猫金币发行二十周年”中文字样。2.铂币正面图案为1982版熊猫金银币图案,并刊国名、年号及“熊猫金币发行二十周年”中文字样。
