澳洲袋鼠花(Anigozanthos flavidus)又名袋鼠爪,因管状外形花朵上附着天鹅绒似的绒毛,性状酷似袋鼠爪而得名。为高档切花品种。原产澳大利亚,在西澳洲分布广泛,生长于多种土壤与气候条件下。苦苣苔科袋鼠花属多年生草本植物,为澳大利亚第二大出口花卉,被出口到全球的许多地方,同时在美国、以色列和日本等国也有种植。袋鼠花因其特有的型态和花色使它成为澳大利亚最具代表性的庭院植物,同时也是制作干花的优良材料。
