丝棉木(Euony mus bungeanus Maxim),卫矛科,落叶小乔木。生长快,适应性强,材质坚硬耐腐,不翅裂。干皮、根皮含硬橡胶,种子含油率40％以上。枝叶、花果、根均可入药。丝棉木抗多种有害气体,且具有病虫害少、有性繁殖容易等优良特性,是经济与观赏兼优的优良树种。为了尽快发展、推广这一树种。1985年我们从南乐县城内二株优良母树上采集种子进行了育苗试验研究,获得初步成功。现将育苗方法与结果简介如下:
