A US study shows that if you want to sleep for a good feeling, it is best not to read e-books after going to bed. Electronic devices that emit light can have a negative effect on health and the biological clock compared to printed books. Researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the United States point out that the blue light emitted by electronic devices can disrupt the body’s natural biorhythm. People reading eBooks need more time to sleep than those who read printed books before going to bed, and have a lower sense of burnout at night. Watching an ebook at bedtime reduces the amount of melatonin secreted by the body, causing a delay in biological rhythms, resulting in poor psychosis when getting up the next day, which in turn affects the quality of life all day long.
