随着经济的发展,人民生活水平的提高,各种特菜如彩色甜椒、水果型无刺黄瓜等摆上了超市货架和普通人家的餐桌;我国加入WTO,鲜菜出口量也有了大幅度增加。因此,彩色甜椒作为特菜主要品种之一,种植面积不断扩大。2002年1月28日,由山东省种子总公司主持的“以色列甜椒新品种现场观摩会”在山东省商河县召开,来自山东省各地甜椒主产区生产、推广、经营单位的近200名代表参加了观摩会。记者随同与会代表一起参观了甜椒生产基地。
