刘禹锡(公元772——842年)字梦得,中山(今河北正定)人,因他做过太子宾客,所以又叫他刘宾客,是唐朝著名的文学家和唯物主义哲学家。出身于中小官僚地主家庭,二十二岁(七九三年)时与柳宗元同时考中进士,后做过太子校书等小官。三十一岁时做监察御史,认识革新派首领王叔文,并与柳宗元、韩愈等讨论学术,研究诗文。公元八○五年,参加了王叔文政治革新集团。王叔文是唐顺宗的近臣,深得顺宗信任。
Liu Yuxi (AD 772 - - 842) The word dream, Zhongshan (now Hebei Zhengding) people, because he has done Prince guests, so called him Liu guest, is a famous Tang Dynasty writer and materialistic philosopher. He also discussed academic studies and poetry with Liu Zongyuan and Han Yu. In 1985, Wang attended the political reform group. Wang Shuwen Tang Shunzong’s minister, won Shunzong trust.
