恩师贺淦荪先生被盆景界一致公认为我国著名的盆景艺术家和理论家,他生前对中国盆景的发展殚精竭虑,鞠躬尽瘁,创造性地提出了很多宝贵的艺术理论,他的艺术思想对中国盆景的发展具有很强的前瞻性和指导性。恩师一生爱党、爱国、爱家,热爱生活工作,认真负责,执着追求艺术。他教导我们说:“艺术工作的创作应该弘扬社会主旋律,传递社会正能量,这是艺术工作者最起码的良心,一个艺术工作者要不断学习,既要从传统的艺术土壤里吸收营养,又要结合当下生活的思考和社会变革实践,从审美上把握生活规律,找到创作的源
