“Séjalavíkya” Theater is a play that was performed by the performers at the tour theaters during the festival, popular in Umbria. The performance group consists of 15 to 20 young male farmers, shuttle between the various theaters, performing repeatedly until evening, in exchange for eggs and beer. In the theatrical versions of the various regions of Italy (Umbria), the typical plot of “Saqqaraviya” is: Two sawminers “cut down” and attempted to cut and also saw a tree Oak Tree’s Old Woman. Her husband (elder) came to power looking for his spouse, and looked desperately at the old woman who was injured and “sawed.” Then, after the police’s responsibility has been established, treatment personnel (pharmacists, doctors and nurses) ride donkeys and begin treatment for the dying old woman. Occasionally, the elderly woman will recover under the priest’s treatment of “extreme performance,” but more often they will slowly become involved in the “Malabar” devil’s arms. The purpose of this article is to protect and record this special, elapsed intangible cultural heritage and, on the other hand, to study the new manifestations of drama in the “Saqqaraviya” context in a new context.
