第二届全国杂草生防学术会议于1988年11月11～14日在云南省宜良县召开。出席会议代表36人,收到论文43篇。美国农业部科学项目专家组生防领导人索帕博士、美国农业部农业研究局国际部主任金凯德博士、美国昆虫学会主席、美国农业部驻意大利杂草生防室主任柯纽森博士、美国马里兰大学昆虫系副教授马可博士出席了会议。会议就第一届杂草生防会议
The second national weed prevention conference was held on November 11-14, 1988 in Yiliang County, Yunnan Province. 36 people attended the meeting, received 43 papers. Dr. Soppa, Bioconductee Leader of the US Department of Agriculture’s Scientific Projects Expert Team, Dr. Kincaid, Director of International Department of Agriculture Research, USDA, Chairman of American Entomology Society, Dr. Cuoenusen, Director of Weed Prevention Office of Italian Ministry of Agriculture in Italy, USA Dr. Marco Marr, Associate Professor of Entomology, University of Maryland, attended the conference.
