一、本试验研究目的川西高山林区为我国重要木材基地,由于本林区位于岷江和大渡河流域的上游,同时山高坡陡,地形复杂,因此,森林对水土保持、水源涵养、调节气候具有更重要的意义。近年来,由于森林的大面积采伐,削弱了森林的有益性能。随着国家经济建设的发展,对木材需要量的增长,采伐与维护林地的水土保持和水源涵养作用的矛盾,日益成为影响农林业生产的重要问题。本项研究的任务是试图阐明和统一这一矛盾。把为国家提供大量木材与维护林地最低保安效果二方面的利益结合起来,为制订该高山林区的合理主伐方式提供有关水文方面的科学数据。

Combining the benefits of providing large quantities of timber for the State with the minimum security effect of preserving the forest, scientific data on hydrology are provided for the development of sound methods of harvesting in the high-mountain forests.
