From January to September, the country’s foreign exchange earnings from tourism amounted to 3.13 billion U.S. dollars, up 20.3% over the same period of last year. It has completed 72.0% of the planned foreign exchange earnings from tourism in 1993 of 4.6 billion U.S. dollars. From January to September, total foreign exchange earnings from tourism totaled 949 million U.S. dollars in foreign exchange earnings, up 4.1% over the same period of last year. The foreign exchange earnings from labor services stood at 2.365 billion U.S. dollars, up 28.3%.
