Recently, the China Consumer Protection Foundation selected 24 brands of wall-mounted air-conditioner products from the market and commissioned the National Household Electrical Appliances Quality Inspection Center to inspect them. On June 10, the Foundation released the test results. All 24 products meet the requirements of the national standards. The test results are in the attached table. It is understood that the air-conditioning industry has developed rapidly in China. In the early 1980s, China’s air-conditioners relied mainly on incoming parts to produce only 24,000 units; in the early 1990s, China’s air conditioners mainly relied on imitation production.
