The construction of a plastic trading center in Dongguan, a major plastic trading center on the Beijing-Kowloon Line, was the first phase of the Dongguan Plastics Market Trading Center. The plastic raw material market opened in July this year, and the second phase of the project began. The first half of 2002 is scheduled for completion and opening. The plastic market trading center occupies an area of 150,000 m2 and is located in the newly completed freight yard of Zhangmutou New Railway on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. It plans to build three zones of plastic materials, plastic machinery, plastics and semi-finished products.
