村级基层党组织一般是党支部,通常情况下只有乡镇才设立党委。但在一些全国名村也有设立村级党委的,如浙江花园村、江苏华西村、河南南街村等。据3月26日《南京日报》报道,南京市第一个村级基层党委在高淳县武家嘴村诞生。3月23日,武家嘴村及邻近的双红村、黄家村成立的联合党委,开创了该市农村基层党组织建设先河。据悉,武家嘴村经过多年打拼,闯出了一条造船水运的富民壮村
