Animal models of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury were established by ligation of the bilateral common carotid arteries in rats, and the level of endothelin (ET) was measured by radioimmunoassay to study the effects of PGMS and NIM, Effect of ischemic reperfusion injury on brain parenchyma in rats. The experimental results show that both PGMS and NIM can reduce ET content in plasma and brain tissue of rats with ischemia-reperfusion injury and protect the ischemic neurons from injury, which provides a new idea for clinical treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
