我省南北狭长,海拔高低悬殊,加之地形、地貌复杂,因此生长着众多的温带、暖温带甚至某些地方还有一些亚热带、寒温带植物。全省大约有木本植物500余种,其中乔木约150多种。在分布广泛、种类繁多的树木中,如何从中挑选出最适宜,且基本上能为全省人民所公认的省树呢?可能因挑选的角度不同而众说纷纭,这是正常现象。为了使评选的目标集中一些,我初步提出以下几个评选条件,供大家讨论。1、最好是乔木树种因为乔木高大,寿命较长,通常树形整齐,易在人们心目中占显赫地位,
