厚德笃行求真创造重庆人文科技学院成立于2000年5月,原为西南大学育才学院。2013年4月,经教育部批准由独立学院转设为独立设置的民办普通本科高校,是重庆市首批获得批准转设的民办普通本科高校和教育部首批确定的全国应用型大学战略试点研究高校。学校位于重庆市合川区,占地面积2055,78亩,森林覆盖率达70%。现有在校学生18500余人,设有15个二级院(部),开设42种本科专业和1种专科专业,涵盖文学、法学、管理学、经济学、艺术学、教育学、理学、工学、农学、医学10大学科门类。
Houde Tukan truth-seeking creation Chongqing Institute of Humanities and Science was established in May 2000, formerly Southwest University Yucai Institute. In April 2013, the privately-run ordinary undergraduate colleges approved by the Ministry of Education as independent establishments were approved by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of private undergraduate colleges and universities approved by the Ministry of Education and the first batch of strategic pilot projects of the National Applied University Research universities. The school is located in Chongqing Hechuan District, covers an area of 2055, 78 acres, the forest coverage rate of 70%. Currently there are more than 18,500 students and 15 second-level institutes (divisions). There are 42 undergraduate and 1 specialist majors, covering literature, law, management, economics, art, education, science, engineering , Agronomy, Medicine 10 university subjects.
