我是北京市文联一名司机,时至今日已有15个春秋,由于职业的关系我与北京文学艺术界的作家,艺术家们有着频繁的接触和交往,有的与我成为忘年交,有的成为良师益友,长者管桦就是他们当中的一个。管桦是作家,他曾写过的名篇《小英雄雨来》是我们这代人的必读课。他还是诗人,他曾写过脍炙人口歌词“听妈妈讲那过去的事情”、“快乐的节日”、“我们的田野”……他又是画家,他爱翠竹,更爱竹的风采,他门前种竹,他的墨竹别具一格,粗壮挺拔,栩栩如生,俊俏典雅,富于神韵。墨竹旁配有诗句,“根生大地,渴饮甘泉。”“竹映碧空,梅照大地。”诗情画意融为一体,其中有一幅墨竹旁是当代著名诗人艾青亲笔提字:“人如其竹,竹如其人,我爱其竹,更爱其人。”看到这幅墨竹,使我不禁想起了两件鲜为人知的往事。
