北京大学是我国最早开展高分子教学与科研的单位之一。1952年,冯新德先生即在北京大学开设高分子化学课程;1953年,开始招收高分子化学研究生;1955年,首届高分子专业本科学生毕业;1958年,成立高分子化学教研室。1996年,高分子科学与工程系正式成立。2007年8月成立“高分子化学与物理教育部重点实验室”。2013年9月,实验室通过教育部组织的第一次评估。2014年5月,北京大学批准建立“北京大学软物质科学与工程中心”。该中心是北京大学校内实行特殊机制的跨院系实体机
Peking University is one of the earliest units of polymer teaching and research in our country. In 1952, Mr. Feng Xinde opened the course of polymer chemistry at Peking University. In 1953, he began to recruit polymer chemistry postgraduates. In 1955, the first polymer undergraduates graduated. In 1958, he founded the Department of Polymer Chemistry. In 1996, the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering was formally established. August 2007 Established “Key Laboratory of Polymer Chemistry and Physics Ministry of Education ”. In September 2013, the laboratory conducted the first assessment organized by the Ministry of Education. In May 2014, Peking University approved the establishment of Peking University Soft Matter Science and Engineering Center. The center is a cross-department entity machine that implements special mechanisms in Peking University
