江泽民同志关于“三个代表”的重要思想从不同角度、不同层面展示了几个方面的特点:一是从总体上为全面推进党的建设提供了新的视角;二是把党的性质、宗旨和根本任务有机地统一起来,由此形成了新的思路;三是为全面正确贯彻落实党的十一届三中全会以来形成的路线方针政策提出了新的要求;四是坚持了马克思主义科学的世界观和方法论。
