中国动物学会自从1956年在青岛举行年会以后,迄今已经4年了。虽然在1957年和1958年先后两度计划召开年会,但由于某些原因,均未实现。几年来,尤其是大跃进以后,全国各个战线上,都有了突飞猛进的发展,并取得了空前的成就。相应的,生物科学也起了很大的变化。为了适应当前万马奔腾的形势,为了更进一步贯彻党的发展科学的方针,有必要总结和检阅过去,广泛交流经验,展望和规划将来,以便推动我国动物科学的迅速发展。
It has been 4 years since the Chinese Zoological Society held an annual meeting in Qingdao in 1956. Although the annual meeting was scheduled twice in 1957 and 1958, it was not achieved for some reason. In recent years, especially after the Great Leap Forward, there has been rapid development on all fronts in all parts of the country and unprecedented achievements have been made. Accordingly, the biological sciences have also undergone great changes. In order to adapt to the current situation of rapid development, in order to further implement the Party’s guidelines for the development of science, it is necessary to review and review the past and extensively exchange experiences, look forward to and plan for the future in order to promote the rapid development of animal science in our country.
